5 Turkish Brands I’m Seriously In Love With 😍

Arzum

Arzum is an electrical appliance company. The reason I love Arzum is because someone let me use their flat iron once and I fell in love with it immediately. I ordered it maybe three days later. It was the Arzum Mona Sense AR5035 from Trendyol. It is 179,90 TL. Converted to dollars, it’s just about $30 and it was free shipping. I was in Turkey when I ordered it. It may be more expensive to ship to the US. I haven’t been able to find an American site that sells these flat irons. However, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to find it. If you do, please let me know in the comments below because I need to use it with an adapter when I am in the US. It isn’t so much of an inconvenience, but it would be better to have a flat iron with and American prong.

Pastel

This beauty brand started by selling various beauty products such as cologne, shampoo, and hair coloring. Once it stepped deeper into the cosmetics industry, selling more makeup products, the brand grew exponentially. Analyzing both women and the beauty industry constantly, Pastel is staying up-to-date with the current trends to continue to be a strong brand.

Shop My Fave:

This Daylong Matte Liquid Lipstick truly lasts all day and doesn’t flake. It’s the perfect color on all skin tones. I’ve gotten it twice and will definitely buy again Before my current one runs out.

Gratis

Gratis is somewhat of a personal care convenience store. Selling everything from dental care to nail care, Gratis is a superstore. The company has stores in over 79 cities, none of which include America. Though a Turkish company, Gratis carries some of our favorite American drugstore brands, such as Pantene, Maybelline, Colgate, Neutrogena, and Simple Skincare. If you’ve ever spent a long time abroad and understood the struggle of trying to find a brand you can trust, you know how amazing it is to find a store that carries brands you now you can trust. However, I have tried some of the Turkish beauty brands. The store is nearly always running a sale and full of customers eager to buy.

Gratis sells Simple Skincare product minis in the cutest travel sized pouches and they’re AMAZING. They come out to about $4 and still last a long time for a mini. I haven’t found it sold in America like this, yet. If you have, please let me know where in the comment below. IG: @gratistr

Flormar

I’ve been using various Flormar products for almost two years now and haven’t had any problems. I have pretty sensitive skin and haven’t experienced a breakout. The only thing about Flormar is that they don’t have foundation or concealer shades for darker skin tones. However, you can still find lip products, blush/highlighters, eyeshadows, and almost anything else that works for you. To make it even better, the price point is perfect. Converted from Lira to Dollar, Nail polish can cost you $1-$2 and lipstick is just about $5-$7.

Lip Glase in 005 Bronze Statue

I have so many of their lipsticks and glosses. I am in love with their Baked Highlighter, which I have in a mini. An employee in Istanbul tried to convince me to get this product. I didn’t. A year later, I caved and bought it in Bartın. Another favorite is their Make-Up Fix Spray. It really sets the makeup. One thing to get used to is that the formula kind of just hits you. There’s a little tingle for a minute but it really does set my face for the entire day. I, also, get a little worried about carrying it on the plane, as it does come in an aluminum aerosol spray can and it’s technically restricted on flights. IG: @flormarturkiye

Trendyol

Trendyol started out as an online clothing store. However, in the recent years, Trendyol has grown to be a superstore. You can find beauty products, clothes, shoes, furniture, appliances, and much more. It is coming to be like Amazon, as far as product selection, but better. Most things from Trendyol, usually ship free to Turkey. I don’t have experience with the shipping process to the US. They ship pretty fast. In my experience, I‘be received packages in as little as 2 days!
